Will you rely on what the land has to offer or will you sacrifice your followers as currency to enable more resources and food?

The game is called Sacrifice and you play as a priest type dude that needs to build up the village by creating farms and houses. Of course, to keep the population in check you have to balance between their happiness and belief in you. This means that you must perform sacrifices in order to increase their belief... you get rewards back from the Gods so it's all good
you are using their LIFE AS CURRENCY for resources, food and their belief in you

Controls:
WASD - camera move
QE - camera rotate
ZX - camera zoom

and the mouse (which is seriously goofy - especially the rotate!)

All coding by moi!
All artwork by moi!
All crappy sounds by as3fxr!

Major to-dos:
Sometimes the game crashes. I think it's to do with the meeple spawning.
The meeples aren't always being destroyed.
Make the meeple explode with blood splatter on sacrifice!
Balance the stats, they are well off!
Make the meeple explode with blood splatter on sacrifice!
Make the game more fun.
Make the meeple explode with blood splatter on sacrifice!
Make the meeple do stuff.
Make the meeple explode with blood splatter on sacrifice!
Make the graphics better.
Make the meeple explode with blood splatter on sacrifice!

I think that's it. I had fun, I hope you had a good Ludum Dare and I look forward to playing all your games!!!
